Facilities
The Centre can be used both residentially and non-residentially.
Plenty of space is available both inside and outside for
up to 72 residents. For the centre to be full this would
comprise 60 children i.e. 10 activity groups, plus 12
staff.
Picnic tables look out over the Marina towards Paignton
and Torquay and an enclosed playground suitable for team
games e.g. 5-aside football, teamwork exercises and problem
solving is situated at the rear.
Resident groups have exclusive use of the centre during
their stay, although groups who wish to do so may share.
Access is controlled via coded locks on all doors into
the building.
The Gas fired central heating and full double-glazing
provides a warm welcome throughout the year.
The dining room, lounge and classroom are also suitable
for activities requiring a large working area such as
Arts, crafts or drama workshops. TV and Video facilities
are also available in the lounge and classroom.
Also available is the Chapel with its multi-purpose hall,
which is often used for concerts, and plays by Music and
Drama based groups.
A state of the art modern kitchen comprises Oven & Grill,
Food Warmer, Microwave, toaster, fridges and freezer plus
hot water boiler for instant hot drinks.
Changing rooms and hot showers for groups and leaders
are accessible from inside and outside the centre.

Access
Parking is available for up to 15 vehicles on site.
Coaches are able to park outside the gates of the
centre, which are only 20 metres from the front
door.
Minibuses and trailers can usually park in the centre
Car Park depending on the number of vehicles used
to bring the group. |
