Non-Residential Groups
For those who do not wish to stay overnight we provide activities for daytime and evening visits. We have a fantastic venue for outdoor activities, conferences/meetings or special occasions. Availability depends upon the needs of the resident group if there is one. If the Centre is unoccupied there are three large rooms plus 2 seated picnic areas outside all of which allow for a wide range of uses. Changing rooms, toilets, showers and a covered reception area are provided for the use of groups involved in outdoor activities.
Catering can also be provided as part of your programme.
Since 2006 DCS has recognised Grenville House as a leading provider of outdoor education in Devon and consequently we are one of only a handful of establishments holding Category 'A' status. Consequently the administration required to support a Devon schools' trip is hugely reduced through the EVOLVE system.
