Outdoor Water

Kayaking, Canoeing, Raft Building, Powerboating, Dinghy and Yacht sailing are all accessible directly from the centre. All of which, except for the yacht, which is permanently berthed in the nearby marina, are launched from our own slipway.
Our modern Kayak fleet is suitable for a wide range of ages and sizes, with BCU star tests available for those inclined. For the more adventurous paddlers Sea Kayaking is also available in our fleet of Capella Sea Kayaks, whilst Open Canoes allow even the novice group to go for a short trip across the harbour to a local beach.
The River Dart is only 10 miles from the centre where a fleet of Open canoes can take you on a trip away from it all in the beautiful scenery of the Dart valley.
Laser Pico, Topper and Wayfarer dinghies allow for the RYA dinghy scheme to be comprehensively covered. Whole days out give the opportunity to see a lot more of the bay. A more serene sailing experience can be gained aboard our 26ft Colvic Yacht.
RYA Dinghy, Keel Boat or Powerboat Courses can also be arranged upon request.
