Assistant Housekeeper to train to become Head Housekeeper – Cleaner/Cook

(Average of 21 hrs worked per week)

Part time Permanent

A flexible, adaptable, fit, vibrant, caring and friendly person is needed to join our Housekeeping team to assist with the catering and cleaning of our busy Centre. 

 

To start – September 6th 2021

 

Salary - up to £17,375 pa pro rata (At least National Living Wage as applicable) 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Food Safety Level 2 

(A course will be organised if not already holding a current certificate.)

In addition it is desirable but not essential to have: 

Experience in catering and worked with children.

 

We provide residential and non-residential experiences for clients of all ages but mainly years 5 & 6 primary school children. We are an all year round operation with a variable work pattern. The salary is based on a minimum of 23hrs per week across the year. Some weeks are busier than others so in practice can range between 0hrs & 37.5hrs depending on the level of our bookings.

 

A typical week will include assisting with getting the Centre ready for the arrival of new groups usually on Mondays and Fridays and the preparation and serving of evening meals.  

 

The ideal candidate will need a very flexible approach and be happy to work early evenings, weekends and occasionally some early mornings

(If a cooked breakfast has been requested!!).

Instructor of Outdoor Education

(Full Time or Seasonal)

A dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for working in the outdoors

MLT UK SPA or MT UK Rock Climbing Instructor

Full clean driving licence (Preferably with D1/D1E)

RYA Dinghy Instructor

RYA Powerboat Instructor

Trainee Instructors

If you are at least 18 years old and have some experience of group work or a keen interest in gaining some we may be able to help. We can provide opportunities to gain experience working with a variety of groups whilst also developing the hard skills required to attain the competence necessary to acquire National Governing body qualifications. Furthermore we can train you in a wide range of in-house activities leading to the possibility of freelance work with us.
